The name of this smoothie says it all. You have wild organic blueberries which hold the one of the highest antioxidant ratings of any fruit, ground flax seeds that provide fiber and omega-3 fatty acids, and kefir for a big dose of healthy probiotics to aid in digestion and help heal the gut. SERVING SIZE: ONE SMOOTHIE

Ingredients

½ cup frozen organic wild blueberries

1 tsp ground flax seeds

3.5oz bottle of Lifeway Nonfat Bio Kefir, vanilla or wild berry*

½ cup almond milk (unsweetened)*

½ cup crushed ice

1 scoop unsweetened protein powder (I use Tera’s Organic Whey products)

*or you can use ½ cup kefir in any flavor you choose.

Directions

Add all ingredients to blender and blend until smooth. If smoothie is too thick you may add a splash of water or a little more kefir.
